Pedal Jam Ride 2019.

Location: Tunxis Mead, Farmington CT When: Saturday, June 8, 2019 Time: Ride will start at 9:00 am Ride: 30 mile “loop”

This ride will start at Tunxis Mead in Farmington and make its way along the Farmington River Trail through Burlington, Collinsville, and then a portion of bikefriendly roadways through Simsbury where riders will pick up the Farmington Canal Trail and make their way through Avon and back to Farmington.

This family-oriented event is designed for trail users of all abilities, and is fully supported until 1:00 pm. A portion of this ride is on the road. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to sign-in and get ready. This ride allows participants to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in the Farmington Valley.

Light snacks (energy bars & water) will be provided at the start and there are plenty of opportunities along the route to stop for a break as needed.

Helmets are required for all participants. Highly visible clothing is recommended. $20.00 suggested donation for adults and $10 for 16 and under.

Upon completion of your ride, stick around to enjoy some food and entertainment, featuring musicians from Downright Music in Collinsville. Bicycle Friendly Farmington is an all-volunteer organization and 100% of funds raised go to support enhancement of safe bicycling in and around the Farmington area.
